July 18, 2012 SOUTHBRIDGE — Those who want to bike through the woods along the Quinebaug River now don't have to do a balancing act to cross Lebanon Brook.
On Monday, July 16, the town formally dedicated a new rail trail bridge there, designed and built largely by DPW Director Thomas Daley and two DPW workers, Luke Farland and Lee Patrick.
"This has been a long time coming," observed Town Manager Christopher Clark. "I think the earmark was five or six years old."
